Sobuu 1.4.1 released in the Google Play Store

We want that Sobuu arrive as far as possible. And that cannot be possible without going to the major stores. FDroid is our homeSobuu 1.4.1 is here — and it’s our biggest visual update so far.

This release focuses on making the app feel cleaner, more consistent, and more comfortable to use across devices. We’ve unified dimensions throughout the interface, improved landscape mode for different screen sizes, refreshed several icons, and introduced an early beta version of Dark Theme.

Sobuu is now officially available on the Google Play Store 🎉

As a community-driven reading tracker built by a solo developer, this release is an important milestone. The goal of Sobuu continues to be simple: make reading feel social, cozy, and enjoyable without distractions.

What’s new in version 1.4.1 📐 Unified dimensions across the app

Spacing, paddings, and component sizes have been standardized to create a more consistent experience throughout Sobuu.

🖥️ Better landscape support

Landscape mode has been improved to adapt better to different screen sizes and orientations, especially on tablets and foldable devices.

🔃 Refreshed icons

Several icons have been replaced to improve readability and visual consistency.

🌚 Dark Theme (Beta)

A first beta version of Dark Theme is now available. This is still a work in progress, and more refinements will come in future updates.

❌ Minor fixes

This update also includes small bug fixes and general improvements for a smoother experience.
